How we collect, use, and protect your personal information

Last Updated: April 2026

Your Privacy Matters to Us

PM Eduventures ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of every student, parent, and visitor who interacts with our website and services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website at www.pmeduventures.com, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways — directly from you and automatically when you browse our website.

Information you provide directly:

  • Full name, phone number, and email address submitted via contact or enquiry forms
  • Course preferences, city, and any messages you send us
  • Email address submitted when subscribing to our newsletter
  • Any additional details shared during counselling consultations

Information collected automatically:

  • IP address, browser type, and operating system
  • Pages visited, time spent on each page, and referring URLs
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5)
  • Device identifiers for analytics and performance monitoring

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to improve your experience and provide our counselling services. Specifically, we use it to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and schedule free consultation appointments
  • Provide personalised college admission guidance and course recommendations
  • Send you relevant updates about admission deadlines, open days, and new college partnerships
  • Deliver our newsletter (only if you have subscribed)
  • Analyse website traffic and improve our content and user experience
  • Comply with applicable laws and resolve any disputes

We will never use your information for any purpose other than those listed above without seeking your explicit consent first.

3. Sharing of Information

PM Eduventures does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Partner Colleges & Universities: With your explicit consent, we may share your details with colleges you are interested in applying to, solely to facilitate your admission process.
  • Service Providers: We use trusted third-party tools such as Web3Forms (form submissions), Google Analytics (website analytics), and Google Tag Manager to operate our website. These providers access only the data needed to perform their services and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request from a government authority.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Enquiry and contact form data is typically retained for up to 3 years to support ongoing counselling relationships. Newsletter subscriptions are maintained until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 7).

5. Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to enhance your browsing experience and analyse traffic patterns. We use:

  • Essential cookies: Necessary for the website to function correctly (e.g., session management).
  • Analytics cookies: Google Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. These cookies do not identify you personally.
  • Preference cookies: Used to remember your choices, such as closing the admission popup during a session.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our website.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our website is served over HTTPS and form submissions are processed via encrypted channels. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: Ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data, subject to any legal retention obligations.
  • Opt-out: Unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us directly.
  • Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 9.

8. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to external websites — including college and university sites — that are not operated by us. We have no control over the content or privacy practices of those sites and we encourage you to review their individual privacy policies before submitting any personal information.

9. Children's Privacy

Many of our students are minors (under 18 years of age). We collect information from or about minors only with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for reviewing this Privacy Policy and confirming their consent when submitting enquiry forms on behalf of their child.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
